Funeral service for William Pickle, Jr. set

Funeral service for William Pickle, Jr., 80, of Poteau is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Reverend Phil McGehee officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Survivors include his wife, Teri Lynn Pickle; daughter, Susanna Lynn Pickle; son, William Clifton Pickle, III; sister Sarah Connaster and husband Robert; brothers Paul Louis Pickle and wife Marilyn, and David Henry Pickle and wife Marilyn; and granddaughter, Dakota Rose Pickle.  

He was born June 26, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee to Catherine Louise (Cain) Pickle  and William Clifton Pickle and passed away Oct. 16, 2023 in Poteau.  

 He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Robert and Ida Cain, and Henry and Celia Pickle.
