Service planned for Ronnie Winters
Memorial service for Ronnie Franklin Winters, 74, of Hodgen is 4 p.m. Saturday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Reverend Jim Cook officiating.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born July 23, 1950 in Hackett, Arkansas to Melba (Helen) Winters and John Paul Winters and passed away Aug. 28, 2024 in Hodgen.
Survivors include his spouse, Iola Winters; daughters Tina Peeters and husband Robert, and Angela Turner and husband James; sons Ronnie Paul, and Timothy Winters; stepchildren Bonnie Brooks, Sherri Clement, Alisa Lawson and Dovie Telesco; brothers Paul Langwell and Dale Langwell; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Helen Winters.

Funeral service planned for Dallas Ball
Funeral service for Dallas Estes Ball, 45, of Fort Smith, Arkansas is 10 a.m. Friday at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola with Dr. Kyle Jarnigan and Reverend Harry Powell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
He was born Jan. 7, 1979 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Gene Lou (Breeden) and William Fredrick Ball and passed away Aug. 27, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include his mother, Gena Breeden; children Austin Ball, Jadyn Holt and husband Jacob, Kyra Ball and Paris Ball; grandchild; sisters JoAnna Manuel and husband Jimmy, Rachel Patton and husband Brian Lee Patton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ball.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Manuel, Brian Lee Patton, Jimmy Stout, Thomas Manuel, Brian James Patton and Austin Ball.

Wes McCroskey
Funeral service for Wesley "Wes" McCroskey, 65, of Tulsa is noon Saturday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Poteau with Reverend Jim Cook officiating.
Services are under the direction of Evans and Miller funeral home in Poteau.
He was born April 21, 1959 in Mount Vernon, Washington and passed away Aug. 25, 2024 in Tulsa.
Survivors include his wife, Linda McCroskey; daughters Angie Lambert and Leslie McCroskey; son Mike McCroskey and wife Carmella; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Potts and husband Joe, and Karen Dull and husband Jim; and brother Bill Tartar and wife Darlene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie (Twardoski) and Norman McCroskey.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike McCroskey, Keith Shepherd, Darel Manus, Bubba Corbett, Eddie McCroskey, his buddy, Jay, and every American pPipeliner.
Viewing and visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral service for Sandra Chester, 76, of Heavener was Monday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Reverend Danny Southerland and Kenny Bryant officiating.
Burial followed at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She was born July 12, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Betty Jean Jones and passed away Aug. 21, 2024 in Heavener.
Survivors include her daughters Lacrisha Southerland and husband Danny, Janell Havens and husband Terry; sons Tracy Cannon, Glendon Chester and wife Barbara; sister, Velma Jean Zavala; grandchildren Danny Southerland II, Christian Karpenski, James Southerland, Stephanie Southerland, Brandon Havens, Anthony Havens, Alyssa Havens, Brandy Canon, Kally Canon, Gayla Broostin and Gina Eastman; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Burton Chester; and brother, Roy Dean Jones.
Pallbearers were Danny Southerland, Danny Southerland II, James Southerland, Rodney Diestelmcier, Terry Havens and Terry Earls. Honorary pallbearers were Christain Karpenski and Glendon Chester.
