Dave Ainsworth Jr.
Funeral service for Dave Ainsworth, Jr., 87, of Spiro was Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro with Reverend Bryan Fouts officiating.
A private burial followed at the Spiro City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
Dave was born Feb. 4, 1937 in Spiro to Susan Ona (Gill) Ainsworth and David Spence Ainsworth and passed away March 10, 2024 in Spiro.
Dave was a charter member of the Eagles Club, and loved country music and playing his guitar and singing. He was a carpenter and electrician by trade and a member of Spiro First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelba D. Fesperman Ainsworth and Patricia Miles Ainsworth; sister, Ona Bess Ainsworth Gould; and step daughter, Tami Click Williams.
Survivors include his daughter Sherie S. Smith and husband Michael; sons David "Bill" W. Ainsworth, James "Jim" E. Ainsworth and wife Mittie, and Kelly S. Ainsworth; sisters Georgia S. Ainsworth, Johnnie M. Harrison and husband Randy; grandchildren David Brent Ainsworth, Chloe Ainsworth, Larry Spence. Ainsworth, Chad Christopher Cox, Shelba Nichol Cox Wilkett, Deidra Howerton, Jamie Anderson, Sarah Mickle, B.J. Williams, Ashley Williams, Nathan Smith and wife Kristin, and Jessica Smith and Dustin Kukuk; great grandchildren David Noah, Nathan Dylan, and Haley Alyssa Ainsworth, Olivia Rose Cox, Jacob Miller, Josh Beam, Dalton and Dayne Wilkett, Emma, Lilly Caroline Mickle, Brody and Mason Howerton, Holly, Mary, Michael Anderson, Miakoda Underwood, Cody Bryant, Koltin Smith and Kanin Smith; great great grandchild, Maggie Mae Miller, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Autry and Dan Capehart.
Couline Wickware
Couline Joysline Wickware, 91, of Hodgen was born Feb. 19, 1933 in the Big Creek community in Heavener to Harry and Anna Mae (Pinnell) Warford and passed away March 9, 2024 in Poteau. She was named by special friends Dooley and Alma Webster.
Funeral service was Tuesday at the Hodgen First Baptist Church with Brother John Paul McAlester officiating. Burial followed in the Hodgen Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Cox, of Hodgen; one grandson, :

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna Mae Warford; her husband of 62 ½ years, C.L. “Hossy” Wickware; a son, Randy Wickware; a brother, Troy Warford; and and a sister, Lola Davis.
Couline was a longtime resident of the area and was a homemaker. She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a child and joined Big Creek Baptist Church. Couline moved to Hodgen in 1948 and married C.L. “Hossie” Wickware on May 29, 1948 in Waldron, Arkansas. They were married for 62 ½ years. In 1955, she joined First Baptist Church in Hodgen, where she taught VBS and was a Sunday school teacher. Couline loved to read and study her Bible. She was a prayer warrior, where she even prayed for people over the phone. Couline thoroughly enjoyed sewing, working in the garden, growing flowers, and taking care of animals. Couline was co-owner of the Hodgen Bait Shop for 26 years and also an Avon Representative for over 40 years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Russell Holland
Cremation services for Russell Holland, 63, of Hackett, Arkansas will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.
He was born March 8, 1961 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Leta (Joiner) Holland and Earl Holland and passed away March 9, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Russell is survived by his brother David and Michelle Holland of Poteau; niece Dara and Clayton Masterson of Lavaca, Arkansas; and numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Leta Holland; and sister, Dara Holland.
Tommy Brown
Funeral service for Tommy Dewitt Brown, 92, of Norman was Wednesday at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola with Rev. John Holderfield officiating.
Burial followed at the Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
He died March 8, 2024 and was born May 8, 1931 in Arcadia, Florida to Cora Taylor Brown Gaskins and Carl Frederic Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving family members are three children Teresa Lynn Brown of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dr. Thomas Michael Brown of Dewitt, Michigan and Tammy (Darin) Rainbolt; and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Beth (Betsy); and siblings Lenora Brown Tsacrios and Frederic Brown.
