Obituary for Renae Renick
Renae Dawn Renick of Heavener was born Dec. 22, 1989 in Poteau to Charles and Cindy (Treadaway) Cauthron and passed away June 15, 2024 in Heavener at the age of 34.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Steven Cauthen officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Renae was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed swimming, drawing, watching scary movies, and hanging out with her family, especially her son, Charles. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Renick, of the home;
Her parents Charles and Cindy Cauthron of Howe;
Two daughters Rebecca Renick of Poteau and Sara Davies of Hodgen;
Three sons Charles Cauthron of Howe, Jackson Dean Renick of Poteau, and Aaron Renick of Heavener;
Two brothers Kevin Cauthron of Howe and Matthew Cauthron of Howe;
Her paternal grandmother, Shirlene Leflore, of Howe;
Her maternal grandfather, James Treadaway, of Louden, Tennessee;
Seven grandchildren Legacie Clayton, Cage Riggins, Dash Clayton, Brason Davies, Daigen Davies, Mila Benefield and Andi Renick;
Other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elaine Treadaway; and her paternal grandfather, Charles Cauthron.
Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.
The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
