Obituary for Charlotte Moody
Charlotte Moody, 77, of Heavener was born Aug. 21, 1946 in the Lovings community in Heavener to Doyle and Jean (Tomlin) Winters and passed away Nov. 16, 2023 in Poteau.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Lovings Baptist Church in the Lovings Community with Brother David Hardin and Mr. Ray Luman officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Charlotte was a lifelong resident of the area. She was the 1963 Heavener High School football queen and was a 1964 graduate of Heavener High School. Charlotte graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton and she was a cheerleader. She was a member of Lovings Baptist Church. She worked at the Heavener Tag Agency for 31 years until she retired. Charlotte loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Charlotte was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving family members are one daughter Amber LeFlore and husband Jeff of the Lovings community; one son Brandon Moody and wife Jennifer of the Lovings community; one sister Pam Luman and husband Ray of Wister; two brothers Paul Winters and wife Terri of the Lovings community, and Jim Winters and wife Jami of the Lovings community; one sister-in-law, Pat Deere, of the Reichert community; one brother-in-law, Don Wiles, of Ochelata; five granddaughters Lexi, Abbi, and Ashlyn Moody of Heavener, and Tayler and Alex Ollie of Heavener; one great-granddaughter, London Ollie, of Heavener; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David “Buck” Moody; two sisters-in-law Addicay Mann and Gwenda Wiles; one brother-in-law, Archie Deere; four nephews Tommy Jo Wiles, Dwight Luman, Archie Dave Deere,and Phil Gardenhire; and one niece, Delana Ester.
Pallbearers are Steve Hembree, Steve Chitwood, Danny Yandell, Buddy Kelly, Tommy Newcomer, and Bill Pitchford.
Viewing is from noon until 8:30 p.m. Friday. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary for Billy Spearman
Graveside service for Billy Jack Spearman, 93, of Cameron is 10 a.m. Friday at Fair Hill Cemetery in Cameron with Reverend Jim Cook officiating.
Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.
He was born Aug.19, 1930 on the lease in Tahona to Florence Carter and Edward Curtis Spearman and passed away Nov. 16, 2023 in Panama.
He was married to Patsy June Martin April 10, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. After retirement his passions were coon hunting, deer hunting, trot lining, gardening, painting ceramics and playing with all his grandbabies.
Billy Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Florence Spearman; wife, Pasty June (Martin) Spearman; sons Billy John and Edward Curtis Spearman; and brother, William Spearman.
Survivors include his daughter Phyllis Stimac and husband Matt of Panama; sons Joe Spearman and wife Brenda of Cameron, and Arlis Spearman and wife Judy of Jenny Lind, Arkansas; numerous grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.
Pallbearers are Jason Spearman, Matt Stimac, Joe Spearman and Arlis Spearman.

Obituary for Robin Wallis
Funeral service for Robin Wallis, 65, of Spiro is 2 p.m. Monday at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro.
Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
He was born on April 4, 1958 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Gloria Underwood and Buddy Lee Wallis and passed away Nov. 14, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was married to Ruth (Williams) Wallis on May 24, 1975 in Poteau. He worked at Baldor for 36 years, HAM (Amateur radio) operator N5SFV, worked on electronics, was very tech savvy, and built and fixed many things.
Surviving family members are his wife, Ruth Wallis; brothers Donny Wallis, and Johnny Wallis; sister, Tina Wallis; daughter Julie and husband Bryan Larson; sons Rodney and wife, Darlene Wallis, and Richard Wallis; grandchildren Quentan Mertens, Mathew Wallis, Jake Hall, Xaylie Burney, Axel Jo Burney, Christian Wallis, Jada Wallis, Kylee Wallis, Kaden Wallis, Christa Greene and LeRoy Larson; and great-grandson, Luca Greene.
Robin is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Wallis; mother, Gloria Underwood; stepmother, La Faye Wallis; and brother, Dennis Wallis.
Viewing is Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. with the family meeting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
