Obituary for Dorothy Harris
Dorothy Jene Harris, 76, of Waldron, Arkansas formerly of Howe) was born June 22, 1947 in Vandervoort, Arkansas to Leonard and Maud (Winkley) Lamkin and passed away Nov. 11, 2023 in Waldron, Arkansas.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God Church with Reverend Konnor McKay and Steve Henderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Dorothy was a longtime resident of the area. She worked at Tyson Foods until she retired. Dorothy owned and operated a dairy farm. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one son, Terry Harris, of Waldron, Arkansas; three grandchildren Adena Harris, William Helton and Buddy Helton; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard Harris; one son, Timothy Harris; one daughter, Tammy Johnson; and two brothers Bill Grady and Leon Lampkin.
Pallbearers are Tommy Christopher, Dana Lampkin, Tammie Winkley, T.J. Bender, David Nelson and Shasta Christopher. Honorary pallbearer is Travis May
Viewing will be from noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Ernest Mackey
Funeral service for Ernest Dean Mackey, 67, of Spiro is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro with Rockey Boggs officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Ernie was born Dec. 26, 1955 in Bakersfield, California to Betty Gene (Beeler) and Albert Lee Mackey and passed away Nov. 11, 2023 in Pocola.
Ernie was a Christian who loved the Lord and loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Mackey; brother, Ronnie Mackey; nieces Christal Chappell and husband Buck, and Shaya Jackson and husband Brian; nephew, Jamie Mackey; numerous great nieces; great nephews; cousins; family; and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Lee Mackey; and brother, Monte "Blue" Mackey.
Pallbearers are his family and friends.
Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Service set for Clifford William Weaver
Funeral service for Clifford Weaver, 87, is 2 p.m. Friday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Jim Cook officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born May 22, 1936 in Williams and passed away Nov. 12, 2023.
Surviving family members are children Randy Weaver and wife Tanna Weaver, and Ronda Weaver; grandchildren Randall and Karen Weaver, Brandon and Angelia Weaver, Ashely and Philemon Ray, and Hanna Weaver and Jeremy James; 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a brother, Alford Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobby; grandson, Billy Wilson, two brothers Melford Weaver and Clifton Weaver; and three sisters Goldie Fowler, Joyce Smith and Silvia Weaver.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
