Memorial service planned for Sammy Tuttle
The family of Sammy Tuttle will hold a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler. Cremation services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.
Samuel Gene Tuttle was born Jan. 6, 1985 in Oklahoma City to Sheila (Peevyhouse) Tuttle and Larry Dean Tuttle and passed away Dec. 9, 2023 in Whitefield.
Sammy's life was adventurous, entertaining, and one-of-a-kind. He was an entrepreneur, speed boat and water enthusiast, outdoorsman, athlete, hard rocker, and an amazing guitarist. He lived life to the fullest and the fastest that many could hardly keep up with and that's what made Sammy, Sammy. He was a beloved father, son, brother and fiend and loved his family and friends with all his heart.
Survivors include his son, Lane Dean Tuttle; his mom, Sheila Tuttle: his sisters Andrea West, Tracy Skinner, Heather Hinkle, Janie Tuttle and Kim Pratt; his brothers Toby Overstreet and Lucas Tuttle; his step-mom, Cammie Tuttle-Rosenburgh, numerous other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Tuttle.
