Obituary for Evie LouAnn Carver
Funeral service for Evie LouAnn Carver, 77, of Poteau is 9 a.m. Saturday at Grace Funeral Chapel in Poteau with Reverend C Lynn Bullard officiating. Burial will follow at Bokahoma Cemetery in Haworth, under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.
Evie was born July 24, 1946 in Bokahoma to Evie (Green) McCormick and Thomas E.McCormick and passed away Feb. 21, 2024 in Poteau.
Survivors include son David Clinton and wife JoAnne of Poteau; daughter Amanda Watts and husband Jason of Shady Point; brother, Thomas McCormick; grandchildren Tyson Clinton, Jason Watts, Angel Guzman, Elvis Valdez, Jasmine Gage and Lyla Elliott; and great grandchildren Oaklyn Mae Clinton, Bodie Wade Clinton, Jameson Gage, Jasper Gage and Wrenlee Cheyenne.
Evie was preceded in death by her parents T.E.and Evie McCormick; and brothers Donald McCormick and Marlon McCormick.
Pallbearers are Freddy Hight, Rod Hatten, Kelly Sayahnejad, JB Lloyd, Stan Jenkins and Steve Jenkins.
